Mujina-mo Natural Monument Marsh and Large Play Equipment for Carefree Outdoor Play
About this spot
A prefectural suigo park adjacent to the Saitama Aquarium. Centered around Hozoji Marsh (宝蔵寺沼) where the nationally designated natural monument Mujina-mo grows wild, the park offers waterside boardwalk strolls, expansive lawns, and a large play area called Wampaku Plaza, where children can play freely. The marsh's seasonal landscape changes are photogenic too.
Tips
The park is spacious, so it's easier if you decide where to go beforehand. In summer, shade is limited, so don't forget hats and drinks. There are paved paths that are easy to navigate with a stroller.
Best time to visit
1 to 1.5 hours required. Morning walks are delightful.
