About this spot
A hilltop park located directly south of Narita Airport's A Runway. Positioned right beneath the landing approach course, passenger jets pass just overhead with an awe-inspiring roar. The heart-shaped monument is a classic photo spot, and children will be delighted just relaxing on the grassy area. With parking and restrooms available, it's perfect for a morning stop.
Tips
Wind direction determines whether the hill is on the takeoff or landing side, so check a flight radar app beforehand to catch the most spectacular flights. The hill has little shade, so a hat is essential.

30–45 minutes • Morning air is crisp and ideal for photos
