Watch Planes Take Off with Spectacular Power from the Cherry Blossom Hill
About this spot
A park spreading across the north end of the A Runway where you can watch takeoff aircraft climb steeply right before you—one of Narita's best airplane spots. The shop "Sora no Eki Sakura-kan" (Sky Station Sakura Hall) sells airplane merchandise and local souvenirs. The spacious lawn is perfect for children to run around and have a change of scenery. Cherry blossoms and airplanes create a spectacular sight each spring.
Tips
On northerly wind days, expect a continuous takeoff rush right in front of you. A picnic blanket is convenient for relaxing on the spacious lawn. Weekend afternoons tend to have crowded parking.
