Lakeside Lunch and a Relaxing Boat Ride
About this spot
A dam lake created by damming the Yoro River, boasting Chiba's largest water capacity. The lakeshore features walking paths and boat launches where you can leisurely enjoy views of the lake reflecting the seasonal countryside. From autumn through winter, it's also known for smelt fishing, with fishing boats dotting the tranquil waters.
Tips
The wood-fired pizzeria 'BOSSO' (ボッソ) adjoining the art museum is popular for lunch pizzas. If taking a boat, borrow a child-sized life jacket for peace of mind.
