Challenge zip lines and tree-top obstacle courses as a family in the forest
About this spot
Japan's largest forest activity facility known as an adventure forest. The signature experience is an adventure park where you navigate tree-mounted obstacle courses while secured with a safety harness, and the mega zip line that lets you glide long distances above the forest is also hugely popular. There are low courses for small children and a lawn area, so siblings of different ages can enjoy activities suited to their own level. The exhilaration of moving your body to the fullest while surrounded by greenery is a refreshing experience you cannot find in city parks.
Tips
Advance reservations are recommended on weekends and holidays. Athletic courses require movement-friendly clothing and sneakers (sandals not permitted), and there are height and age participation requirements, so check the official information in advance. Parking is free and there's a café in the park, so you can grab a light lunch.
Best time to visit
Approximately 3.5 hours. Starting right at the 9 a.m. opening is recommended to avoid waiting times.
