An ancient shrine standing at the west entrance of Osaka Korea Town. Legend has it that Emperor Nintoku frequently rested in the forest at this location, which gave birth to the name "Miyuki no Mori" (Forest of the Imperial Excursion). This area was once called Inokainoho, and in ancient times it was home to many immigrants from Baekje. Within the shrine grounds stands a stone monument inscribed with the "Naniwa no Tsu no Uta" (Song of Naniwa Port), said to have been composed by Wanikishi, a scholar who came from Baekje. This quietly tells the story of a long history of Japan-Korea exchange, which is the very origin of Korea Town. Just a step away from the bustle of the lively shopping arcade, the small shrine grounds enveloped in trees offer the perfect place to rest after eating your fill. It's also worthwhile to reflect on the history of how this town came to be during a pause in your chatting.
Tips
Just outside the west entrance of Osaka Korea Town (Miyuki-dori Shopping Arcade), so you can easily stop by while browsing. Admission is free. In contrast to the lively shopping arcade, the shrine grounds are quiet and perfect for catching your breath. As it's a small shrine, 15–30 minutes should be enough time to see everything.

Approximately 30 minutes. Stop by for a rest in the early afternoon after eating your fill.
