Designed by Tadao Ando, the building stands on a hilltop overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, with large openings framing the sea and sky like paintings. Inside, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations are displayed, and outdoor artworks are scattered around the surrounding lawn and coastline, allowing for viewing enjoyment while strolling. Tips
The museum welcomes non-hotel guests as well. In-facility shuttle buses are convenient for moving around the area.
