The publicly accessible Shimizu Cave showcases stalactite formations and rock structures illuminated by lighting, as well as the trickling sounds of groundwater flowing through the cavern. One step inside and the air transforms—even in summer, the natural cooling is refreshing. As you navigate the narrow passages, your sense of exploration grows and children's eyes light up. Tips
The cavern floor is wet and slippery in places, so wear shoes suitable for walking. Be mindful of the low ceiling in certain areas. Even in summer it is cool, so bringing a light layer to wear ensures comfort. Note the reception closing time and confirm in advance if your arrival might be late.
