Mixed woodland and traditional thatched-roof farmhouses - an autumn walk through the green space
About this spot
Kawasaki's largest treasure trove of greenery, dotted with the Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum in the wooded valley, the Science and Future Hall planetarium, and the Masugata-yama Observation Platform. The folk house museum features traditional thatched-roof farmhouses relocated from across Japan, where you can experience old-world living through the scent of hearth smoke. From the Masugata-yama observation platform, you can overlook the Tamagawa River direction and even check the angle of tonight's fireworks in advance—a fun part of the experience.
