香住ふるさとまつりのクライマックスを飾る海上花火大会です。打ち上げ場所は香住浜の沖合で、陸から見ると花火が海面から空へ向かってまっすぐ打ち上がる、海上花火ならではの構図を楽しめます。波の音が途切れるたびにドーンと響く打ち上げ音が浜辺に届き、大輪の光が広がるたびに歓声が上がります。漁師町・香住の夏祭りならではのアットホームな雰囲気の中、地元の人たちと一緒に夜空を見上げるひとときは格別です。フィナーレが終わったあとも、潮風と波音の余韻の中でしばらく浜に残るのがおすすめです。

開催時刻は当日の公式発表を確認してください(時間未定のため事前に香美町の観光情報をチェック)。荒天時は中止または延期の場合があります。終了後は香住駅周辺が混み合うため、時間差で帰路につくと安心です。足元が暗くなるのでライトを持参しましょう。

Tips

A few minutes' walk from JR Amabe Station; about 10 minutes by car from Kasumi Station. As crowded conditions are expected from late evening onwards on the fireworks day, it's convenient to purchase souvenirs during this time. Parking available.
