A high-ranking Shinto shrine boasting a history of over 2,000 years as the primary shrine of Musashi Province. The approximately 2km zelkova tree-lined approach continuing from Ichinomiya-dori offers a refreshing walk, with dappled sunlight filtering through the canopy even on summer days. Beyond the main torii gate, secondary torii gate, and tertiary torii gate, the vermillion-painted gate tower and main hall stand quietly. Known for blessings related to fortunate marriages and household safety, it's perfect for praying for safety during the evening fireworks. The sacred pond within the shrine grounds also offers enjoyment of waterside nature.

2026年7月25日(土)19時30分から20時30分まで、さいたま市北区の大和田公園周辺で打ち上げられる市民花火大会です。約4,000発が1時間にわたって夜空を彩り、公園会場ならではの近距離の臨場感で花火の轟音と光を全身で感じることができます。スターマイン連発やフィナーレの大玉など、プログラムは多彩で子どもから大人まで飽きさせません。地域に根ざした夏祭りの雰囲気の中で、家族そろって夏の夜を満喫できる大会です。フィナーレが終わったあとの余韻も、この1日を締めくくるひとときです。
Tips
荒天・強風時は中止または延期となるため、当日は大会公式の情報をこまめに確認しましょう。終了後は会場周辺の道路・最寄り駅が大変混雑します。帰りは少し時間をずらして混雑のピークを避けるか、方向が違うルートも検討を。足元が暗い場所があるため小さなライトがあると安心です。

About 15 minutes walk south along Ichinomiya-dori from the Saitama City Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, or about 10 minutes walk from JR Omiya Station. Entry and shrine visits are free. If you wish to receive a shrine seal (goshuin), check the office reception hours and allow extra time. The approach is well-maintained and accessible by stroller.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour required. The dappled sunlight on the approach in the afternoon is particularly atmospheric.
