Tips

開催可否や雨天時の対応は大会主催者の公式発表で必ず確認してください。境内は砂利や石畳のエリアがあるため、レジャーシートを敷ける場所を早めに確保するのがおすすめです。終了後は富雄駅行きのバス・タクシーが混み合うため、余韻を楽しんでから少し時間をずらして移動すると比較的スムーズです。帰路の近鉄の最終時刻も事前に調べておきましょう。

Tips

Just a short walk from Nishinokyo Station (西ノ京駅) on the Kintetsu Kashihara Line. Admission to the temple grounds is 1,100 yen for adults (as of 2025). The grounds feature gravel and stone paving, so wear comfortable walking shoes. A combined ticket with the adjacent Toshodaiji Temple (唐招提寺) can save time. Lunch can be taken near Nishinokyo Station or after visiting Toshodaiji Temple, then taken after traveling by Kintetsu for a smooth experience.
