About this spot

A ropeway that connects to the summit of Biyama (眉山), which extends south of Tokushima city center, in about 6 minutes. From the observation deck at 290 meters elevation, you can see like the palm of your hand the terrain of Tokushima the water city where tributaries of the Yoshino River (吉野川) and waterways run like a mesh. On clear days, you can see as far as Awaji Island (淡路島). You can also confirm during the day the location of Aiba Hama Park (藍場浜公園) where tonight's fireworks will light up, helping you envision the evening viewing spot. There are also walking paths and rest areas at the summit where you can enjoy the view while feeling the cool mountain breeze. When boarding the gondola, remind children to hold the handrail securely.

2026年7月18日(土)20時から1時間、徳島市の藍場浜公園を舞台に約2,000発の花火が夜空を彩ります。吉野川水系が縦横に走る水都・徳島ならではの川沿いの会場では、打ち上がった花火が川面に映り込み、空と水面の両方で光が揺れる幻想的な光景が広がります。水辺から吹いてくる涼しい夜風の中、打ち上げ音が川面に響く迫力と水面の反射が重なり、都市の花火大会とはひと味違う臨場感を生み出します。フィナーレの連発で空が明るく染まる瞬間は、この1日の完璧な締めくくりです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表で事前に確認を。終了後は周辺道路・徳島駅方面が非常に混雑するため、花火終了後はしばらく公園内でゆっくりしてから移動するのがおすすめです。帰りは足元が暗い場所があるため小さなライトがあると安心。ゴミは必ず持ち帰りましょう。

Tips

The base station is about a 15-minute walk from JR Tokushima Station, or accessible by bus to the stop right in front of Awaodori Hall (阿波おどり会館). Round-trip fare is approximately 1,030 yen for adults and 520 yen for elementary school children (please verify on the official site). The summit is several degrees cooler than the city even in summer, so a light wrap is convenient. The return ropeway can get crowded, so plan to descend before the evening rush.
