A shrine located in the center of Ichinomiya City with a long history as Owari Province's First Shrine. An esteemed shrine from which the very place name "Ichinomiya" derives. The main deity enshrined is Amenohoakari no Mikoto. The grounds feature a two-storied gate and a kagura stage, surrounded by lush greenery. During summer festival season, the grounds fill with visitors, and on the day of the fireworks festival, local residents visit from early morning—a special day. You can also receive a commemorative seal (goshuin) as a souvenir of the fireworks festival. After your visit, rest in the shade of trees within the grounds to prepare for the hot afternoon.

開催時刻は2026年の公式発表で必ず確認してください(本コース記載の19:00は目安です)。荒天時の開催可否も公式情報で確認を。終了後は周辺道路と公共交通機関が大変混雑します。帰りのバス・電車の時刻を事前に確認し、混雑が落ち着いてから移動するのがおすすめです。

Tips

About 10 minutes on foot from Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station or JR Owari Ichinomiya Station. Admission to the shrine grounds is free. If you wish to receive a commemorative seal, confirm the reception hours at the shrine office in advance. There are convenience stores and dining options along the way from the station, so it's reassuring to replenish drinks here.
