As 18:00 approaches, spread out your food on your reserved leisure sheet spot and savor the night breeze and autumn air along the riverbank. やつしろ全国花火競技大会は、全国から選ばれた花火師たちが技を競う本格的な競技大会で、約14,000発という圧倒的な打上数を誇る九州を代表する花火大会のひとつです。スターマインや10号玉など多彩な種目で競われる花火は、どれも完成度が高く、間近の球磨川の水面に映る光も格別の美しさです。秋ならではの澄んだ夜空に大輪が次々と開く2時間30分、川風とともに楽しむ競技花火の迫力は、夏とは一味違う凜とした感動をもたらしてくれます。フィナーレの連発では夜空全体が光に包まれ、1日の旅のクライマックスにふさわしい圧巻の光景が広がります。

Tips

荒天・増水時は中止または延期となるため、開催可否は大会公式サイトや八代市の案内で当日朝に確認してください。終了後の周辺道路と駐車場は大変混雑します。公共交通機関を利用する場合は帰りのバス・電車の時刻を事前に調べ、フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するのがおすすめです。10月の夜は気温が下がるので、防寒着を必ず着込んでから観覧しましょう。

Tips
