About this spot

A large complex facility built on the quay of Shimizu Port, with dining, shopping, and sightseeing all in one location. Inside the building, there are multiple restaurants offering cuisine unique to Shimizu Port, including maguro (bluefin tuna) dishes and seafood rice bowls, and the appeal is being able to enjoy lunch while overlooking the port. Chibi Maruko-chan Land is also located within the facility, making it a popular spot for children. Since it is located right next to tonight's fireworks venue at Hinodeshutou (Sunrise Wharf), it is convenient for getting a feel for the local atmosphere during the daytime. After early evening, it becomes crowded with fireworks spectators, so shopping and dining should be completed with plenty of time in the morning.

清水みなと祭りのフィナーレを飾る海上花火大会で、2026年は8月2日(日)の18時15分から20時30分まで開催されます。清水港の沖合から打ち上がる約10,000発の花火は、広い港湾と駿河湾を舞台に大輪を咲かせ、海面に映る光の揺らめきとあいまって迫力と美しさを兼ね備えた光景を作り出します。港町ならではの潮風に包まれながら、空と海の両方で楽しめる二重の花火体験が、このみなと祭りの最大の見どころです。フィナーレに向けて打ち上げテンポが上がるクライマックスは、清水の夏を締めくくる感動的な瞬間です。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は静岡市や大会主催者の公式発表で当日確認してください。終了後は日の出埠頭周辺および清水駅への帰路が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後しばらく港の余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。JR清水駅や静鉄新清水駅への帰り道は人波が多いため、小さなライトやスマホのライト機能で足元を確認しながら安全に移動してください。

Tips

About 15 minutes on foot from JR Shimizu Station, or by municipal bus in front of Shimizu Station, get off at the "Hinodeshutou" bus stop immediately. Parking is adjacent to the facility, but it will be crowded on the fireworks festival day, so using public transportation is wise. Restaurants will be busy from lunch on the day of the fireworks festival, so arriving around 11 AM is recommended.
