The premises have statically preserved SL locomotives and vintage passenger cars that appeal to railroad enthusiasts both young and old. The station building, with its early Showa atmosphere preserved intact, features a waiting room and ticket gate that are photogenic from every angle. At night, the calm and quiet air makes it hard to believe this will become a fireworks festival venue. 荒天時の開催可否は若桜町の公式発表や若桜鉄道の案内で確認を。若桜鉄道の帰り便は本数が少ないため、事前に終電時刻を調べておくことが必須です。終了後は混雑が予想されるため、駅では列に従って乗車を。車での来場の場合は会場周辺の交通規制情報を事前に確認しておきましょう。

Since Wakasaki Railway trains from Gunke Station (郡家駅) run infrequently, confirm the timetable in advance for proper planning. There is a tourism information center inside the station building where you can obtain local maps and pamphlets. While the area near the SL is a popular photography spot, please follow signage and avoid touching the preserved vehicles.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 45 minutes. This is the perfect amount of time to view the station building and preserved vehicles shortly after arrival.
