About this spot

A pastoral-style tourist facility located at an elevation of approximately 600 meters on Daisen's south slope. It is known as one of the premier scenic spots from which to view the magnificent form of Daisen directly across vast meadows. Soft serve ice cream and gelato made with fresh milk are popular; you can enjoy them while seated at outdoor tables while taking in the mountain scenery. Within the pasture there is also a section for interacting with animals, which children greatly enjoy. On the day of the fireworks festival, the daytime is relatively uncrowded, making it an excellent place to get a pleasant start before afternoon sightseeing.

2026年7月25日(土)20時30分開催の大山夏まつり花火大会は、中国地方最高峰・大山の北麓に広がる桝水高原を舞台にした夏の一大イベントです。標高約900mの高原から仰ぎ見る花火は、市街地の大会とは比べものにならない開放的な夜空に開き、大山の黒いシルエットとのコントラストが印象的です。澄んだ山の空気の中で響く打ち上げ音と、視界を遮るものがない広い高原ならではの全天パノラマの花火体験は、家族の夏の記憶に長く残るはずです。大山の自然と歴史を1日かけて巡ったあとのフィナーレとして、この花火はこの上なくふさわしい締めくくりです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大山町や大会公式の発表で確認を。高原の夜は真夏でも冷えるため羽織ものは必携。終了後は駐車場出口が混み合うため、車で来た場合はしばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動を。帰路は国道313号・9号方面が主なルートで、混雑を見越した時間に余裕のある行動計画を。

Tips

Approximately 20 minutes by car from the Mizoguchi Interchange on the Yonago Expressway. The parking lot is spacious and free. Light refreshments such as soft serve ice cream can be purchased at the facility's shop. Due to the elevation, while the sun is strong, the breeze is pleasant—prepare a hat and sunscreen. It is approximately 15 minutes by car to the Daisenji Temple approach next.
