Enjoy the white lighthouse and the scenery of the Nakiri fishing town
About this spot
A white lighthouse standing at the tip of Nakiri Cape (波切) at the eastern end of the Shima Peninsula (志摩半島). Known for the rough waves of the Pacific and its superb views, the area leading up to the lighthouse is also called the Town of Painters because so many artists have taken up their brushes here. Reaching the lighthouse is a small adventure up narrow slopes and alleys, and from the top a grand panorama of the Pacific opens out. Wandering the alleys of the Nakiri fishing town at the foot of the lighthouse is a fresh experience for children as well.

志摩市の入り江に面した海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月19日(水)まで開設されます。遊泳はもちろん、トイレやシャワーもすべて無料で利用できるのがうれしいポイント。更衣室や休憩所、ロッカーに加えて、ベビーカーの貸出や授乳室、スロープまで整っており、小さな子ども連れでも安心して1日を過ごせます。砂浜には海の家もあり、食事や休憩をはさみながら夕方まで波遊びや砂遊びを満喫できます。志摩半島らしい穏やかな波と豊かな緑に囲まれた、静かで過ごしやすいビーチです。
Tips
更衣室・ロッカー・授乳室完備なので着替えや荷物の心配が少なく、赤ちゃん連れでも過ごしやすいビーチです。ベビーカーは貸出があるほか、スロープもあるので砂浜までの移動もスムーズ。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルを忘れずに。海の家での飲食や休憩に備えて、小銭も用意しておきましょう。
Tips
There are slopes and stairs on the way to the lighthouse, so it is best to leave the stroller at the bottom and carry little ones. The lighthouse exhibition hall charges an admission fee. The alleys are maze-like, so hold hands as you walk to avoid getting separated.

About 1 hour. The morning, before the sun gets strong, is recommended
