Uji City Botanical Park (京都府立宇治市植物公園) is one of the leading botanical gardens in the prefecture, where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and a large greenhouse. The grounds include a pond of aquatic plants and a lawn plaza, and the open atmosphere lets small children wander freely, which is a real appeal. In the large greenhouse you can view tropical plants and colorful flowers while staying cool out of the strong summer sun. There is also a restaurant and shop on the grounds that you can use to fuel up before the pool, making it handy as a rest point.

京都府立山城総合運動公園内にある屋外レジャープールで、2026年は7月15日(水)から8月31日(月)まで営業します。遊泳・トレーニングプールに加え、渓流のような流れを再現した子供プールや迫力の造波プールがあり、小さな子から大人まで水遊びを満喫できます。目玉は全長77mのウォーターボブスレーと12mのスライダーで、どちらも事前予約制のため入場後すぐに受付方法を確認しておくと安心です。緑豊かな総合運動公園の敷地内にあるため木陰の休憩スペースも多く、真夏でも過ごしやすいのが魅力です。京都府民は入場料の割引があるので、お住まいの方は当日窓口で確認しましょう。夕方まで開いているので、午前中に周辺を回ってからたっぷり水遊びの時間を確保できます。

Tips

営業時間は9:00〜17:00で、遊泳は16:30まで、最終入場は16:00です。入場料は大人1,020円・高校生710円・小中学生450円・幼児100円で、京都府民は割引があります。ウォーターボブスレーとスライダーは事前予約制なので、入場後すぐに予約方法を確認しておくとスムーズです。

Tips

The parking lot is large and easy to use, so coming by car is recommended. Keeping your stay to about an hour and a half leaves plenty of room to move on to the next plan.
