About 15 minutes walk from JR/Sanyo Akashi Station, this museum stands on the meridian line marking Japan Standard Time (135° East). From the observation room, you can see a panoramic view of Akashi's street scenery and the sea, and the planetarium offers enjoyable explanations of the starry sky for children. The clock tower is known as a symbol of Akashi, and you often see families taking commemorative photos in front of the building. It's the perfect spot to cool off and learn before heading to the beach on a warm morning.

明石市の海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月30日(日)まで、8時30分から17時30分の時間で開設されます。遊泳は無料で、更衣室・シャワー・トイレ・売店・救護所に加えてベビールームも備わり、小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせるのが魅力です。シャワーは1分100円、ロッカーは1回300円で利用でき、海水浴に必要な設備が一通りそろっています。明石海峡大橋を望む開放的な景色の中、波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。
Tips
遊泳は無料ですが、シャワーとロッカーは有料なので小銭を用意しておくと安心です。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダル必携。営業終了は17時30分なので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。
