Stroll Through the Stone Walls and Greenery of Akashi Castle Ruins

A vast prefectural park within walking distance of the museum, where the stone walls and Tatsuta and Kun towers of the former Akashi Castle still remain. The grassy plaza and tree-lined promenade along the moat offer abundant shade, making it relatively comfortable even in the heat of summer midday. There are open spaces for children to play, and it's an ideal walking spot to loosen up before the beach. The view of Akashi's streetscape from atop the stone walls is also impressive.

明石市の海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月30日(日)まで、8時30分から17時30分の時間で開設されます。遊泳は無料で、更衣室・シャワー・トイレ・売店・救護所に加えてベビールームも備わり、小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせるのが魅力です。シャワーは1分100円、ロッカーは1回300円で利用でき、海水浴に必要な設備が一通りそろっています。明石海峡大橋を望む開放的な景色の中、波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

遊泳は無料ですが、シャワーとロッカーは有料なので小銭を用意しておくと安心です。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダル必携。営業終了は17時30分なので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

About 10 minutes walk from the museum. The park is large, so choosing flat park paths that are easy for strollers to navigate makes walking easier. Don't forget a hat and water during summer.
