About this spot

The old station building of the former Nankai Main Line Hamdera Park Station (南海電鉄浜寺公園駅) that remains near the entrance of Hamdera Park. Built in the Meiji period with Western-style architecture, its white walls and decorative eaves brackets create an impressive appearance, which earned it the nickname "The Finest Station Building in the East." Although it no longer serves as an active station, the building is preserved and open to the public, conveying the atmosphere of that era to the present day. As a warm-up before entering the pool, simply taking a leisurely walk while gazing at the building's exterior creates a special sense of beginning an adventure.

2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで営業する、堺市西区の松林の中にある屋外レジャープールです(7月11日・12日はプレオープン、8月29日・30日も追加営業予定)。本格的に泳げる25m・50mプールがあり、学生から大人まで運動不足解消にもぴったり。子どもたちのお目当てはジャイアントスライダーで、勢いよく滑り降りるたびに歓声が響きます。ぷかぷか流されるだけで楽しい流水プールや、水深の浅い変形プールもあり、小さな子から水遊び好きの大人まで、それぞれのペースで一日中楽しめます。松林に囲まれたロケーションのため、休憩スペースでは木陰の涼しさも味わえます。

Tips

入場料は大人950円、中学生520円、4歳から小学生は320円です。夏休みの土日は混み合うため、開場後早めの入場がプールサイドの場所取りには有利です。営業時間は9時30分から18時までなので、退場や着替えの時間を見込んで17時前後を目安に切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

Located immediately near Nankai Main Line Hamdera Park Station (南海本線浜寺公園駅), so if arriving by train, starting your stroll from here makes movement easier. Since there is little shade, visiting early in the morning helps you avoid the direct sun.
