A civic park about a 10-minute walk from JR Tokushima Station, built on the site of Tokushima Castle with Momoyama-style gardens and stone walls remaining. Though the keep no longer stands, feudal-era stone walls, moats, and arched bridges remain and attract local people enjoying walks and jogging throughout the seasons. At the Tokushima Castle Museum and the Former Tokushima Castle Front Gate Garden (Senshū Kaku Garden) (千秋閣庭園) within the park, you can experience the history of the Hachisuka family and the beauty of traditional gardens. The spacious lawn plaza is also perfect for letting children play in the cool morning hours. Start your day with a historical walk through Tokushima before heading to the beach.

徳島市小松に開設される海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで、10時から17時まで遊泳できます。ネーミングライツにより「小松海水浴場ウィズアズマ建設」の愛称で親しまれ、更衣室・シャワー・トイレのほか海の家も並び、約600台収容の駐車場が整うファミリー向けの浜辺です。ライフセーバーが配置されているので、小さな子ども連れでも安心して水遊びができます。遊泳は無料で楽しめるのも家族には嬉しいポイントです。波打ち際での水遊びや砂遊びをしながら、夕方の営業終了時間まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

駐車場は約600台とゆとりがありますが、週末やお盆期間は混み合うため午前中〜早めの午後の到着がおすすめ。更衣室・シャワー・トイレが整っているので、着替えを持参すれば身軽に楽しめます。遊泳時間は17時までなので、片付けと着替えの時間を見込んで16時45分頃には切り上げましょう。

Tips

Just minutes from JR Tokushima Station, it's convenient as a starting point for city sightseeing. Since there's little shade during hot summer days, bring a hat and drinks and visit during the cool morning hours. The museum and gardens have admission fees, but exploring the park itself is free.
