About this spot

About a 10-minute walk from Tokushima Station, this park is built on the site of Tokushima Castle, which was the residence of the Hachisuka clan. Stone walls, moats, and gardens still remain, and at the Tokushima Castle Museum inside the park, you can learn about the history of the castle town in an easy-to-understand way. With plenty of greenery and abundant shade, it's a pleasant place to spend even a summer morning. There are open spaces and lawns where children can roam freely. Before heading to the beach, take time to experience Tokushima's history.

松茂町にある月見ヶ丘海水浴場は、2026年は7月3日(金)から8月17日(月)まで、10時から17時の時間で開設されます。遊泳は無料で、隣接する月見ヶ丘海浜公園には無料の駐車場も用意されているので、車での家族連れのお出かけにも便利です。徳島市街から吉野川を渡ってすぐの立地ながら、開放的な砂浜と穏やかな海が広がり、波打ち際での水遊びから砂遊びまでゆったり楽しめます。午前中に歴史散策や展望、飛行機見学と盛りだくさんで過ごした後は、いよいよ海がクライマックス。夕方の営業終了時間まで、思いきり夏の海を満喫しましょう。

Tips

遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えや片付けの時間を見込んで16時45分ごろには切り上げるのがおすすめです。海の家などの売店は限られるため、飲み物や軽食は事前に準備しておくと安心。駐車場は月見ヶ丘海浜公園の無料駐車場を利用できます。

Tips

Within walking distance from Tokushima Station, with several coin parking lots in the surrounding area. Entry to the Tokushima Castle Museum is paid (discounts available for children). In summer, choosing a shaded route for your walk is more comfortable.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour required. Early morning hours have fewer visitors, allowing for a leisurely walk.
