A metropolitan park on Jogashima at the southern tip of the Miura Peninsula. From the grassy plaza, you can take in all of Sagami Bay, and on clear days, views extend to Mt. Fuji and the Izu Peninsula. The white Jogashima Lighthouse stands within the park, and you can stroll while feeling the scent of the rocky shore and salt breeze. With cliff views and tide pool areas, it's perfect for getting an early taste of the ocean before swimming.

Tips

三浦海岸駅から徒歩圏内でアクセスしやすいのが魅力です。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えや片付けの時間を見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめ。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルがあると安心です。混雑する週末は公共交通機関の利用がスムーズです。

Tips

Accessible on foot from the parking lot just after crossing Jogashima Bridge. Hold hands with small children in unfenced areas near cliffs for safety. It's often windy around the lighthouse, so having something to wear is reassuring.
