About this spot

A park known as the site where the national treasure seal "Kan-Wei-Nu-koku-O" (gold seal) was discovered in the Edo period. From the grassy hilltop, you can see all of Genkai-nada and islands beyond—a unique treat to view the sea you're about to swim in. The park's elevated terrain and ocean breeze make it comfortable even in summer. The open space where children can run freely across the grass is another attraction.

福岡市東区・志賀島にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月1日(水)から8月31日(月)まで開設。玄界灘に面した波の穏やかな砂浜で、家族連れの海水浴にぴったりの場所です。遊泳は無料で、シャワーは1回500円ですが海の家を利用すれば無料で使えます。7月の土日と8月は毎日ライフセーバーが配置されるので、小さな子どもと一緒でも安心。駐車場は300台分あり、海の家利用者は無料で停められます。マリンワールドで生きものを見た後、実際の海で波遊びや砂遊びを楽しみながら、夕方まで志賀島の夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

海の中道から橋を渡って志賀島へ。駐車場は海の家利用で無料になるので、海の家での休憩とセットで計画すると出費を抑えられます。シャワー代の小銭は忘れずに。ライフセーバーが配置される時間帯・曜日は事前に確認しておくとより安心です。

Tips

A walkable distance from Shika Kaijinja Shrine. The viewing area has stairs and slopes, so with a stroller, proceed only as far as comfortable. The sun is intense, so take shade breaks.
