A shrine located in Ota, Kamisu City, revered by the community since ancient times. A historic shrine with a record in Heian-period documents, the grounds are surrounded by a forest with plenty of shade, making it relatively cool even on hot summer mornings. It is a fitting place to stop by before beach swimming and pray for a day's safety and gratitude for the sea's blessings. The grounds are compact, allowing families with children to complete their visit quickly.

茨城県神栖市の太平洋岸に広がる波崎海水浴場は、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設されます。利用料金は無料で、約600台分の無料駐車場が整備されているので、車での来訪にも便利です。隣接施設には温水シャワーとバリアフリー対応のトイレがあり、小さな子ども連れやベビーカー利用の家族でも安心して過ごせる設備が整っています。広々とした砂浜は波打ち際での水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、家族みんなで夏を満喫できるロケーションです。
Tips
駐車場は約600台分と広めですが、夏休みの週末は早めの到着が安心です。温水シャワーやトイレは隣接施設を利用できるので、着替えの荷物も心配いりません。夏の砂浜は日中とても熱くなるので、ビーチサンダルを忘れずに。日差しが強い時間帯はレジャーシートと日よけを活用しましょう。
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Namikaze Beach. Dedicated parking spaces are limited, so be careful with street parking. In summer, bringing insect repellent for mosquito protection is helpful.

Approximately 45 minutes required. Early morning visits are quiet and recommended for easy worship.
