A park on a hill right next to Olive Beach, embodying the birthplace of olives in Japan. Olive groves reminiscent of Mediterranean islands and white windmills line the hilltop, creating a view overlooking the Seto Inland Sea that captures the true essence of Shodoshima. The park is well-maintained and easy to walk through, with the cool morning hours being especially pleasant. Shops selling olive products and local Shodoshima specialties are available, making it perfect for a walk before heading to the sea. You can also see Olive Beach where you'll be swimming later from atop the hill, building anticipation for the day.

小豆島町にある小豆島を代表する海水浴場で、2026年は7月5日(日)から8月30日(日)まで開設されます。瀬戸内海ならではの波の穏やかな遠浅の砂浜で、小さな子ども連れでも安心して波打ち際で遊べます。入場は無料で、夏季は海の家が営業し、更衣室やシャワー、軽食、マリンアクティビティなどを有料で利用可能。水洗トイレと無料駐車場も完備されていて、日帰りの家族旅行にも心強い設備が揃っています。丘の上のオリーブ畑を望みながら泳げるのも、この浜ならではの魅力です。波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。
Tips
無料駐車場があるので車での来訪が便利です。遊泳は無料ですが、海の家の休憩やシャワー、更衣室の利用は有料なので小銭を用意しておきましょう。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルが必携です。
Tips
Just a few minutes' drive from Olive Beach, and also walkable. Summer midday sun is intense, so don't forget hats and hydration. Free parking is available, making car travel convenient.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. Early morning right after opening has fewer crowds and is easier to explore.
