A coastal area known for the "water mirror" effect that appears at low tide, also called "Japan's Uyuni Salt Flat." Located along the Mitoyo City Nio Town coast, this shallow beach offers a spectacular sight when tidal conditions are right—the sky and clouds reflect perfectly on the water's surface, creating a magical landscape. Walking along the soft morning light leads to a refreshing start to a full day of beach enjoyment. The sandy beach is easy to walk on, making it safe for families with small children.

Venue: 三豊市・蔦島海水浴場
仁尾港から渡船で約7分の沖合に浮かぶ、蔦島の無人島にある海水浴場です。2026年は7月5日(日)から8月30日(日)までの開設で、渡船は8時30分から16時45分まで運航しています。渡船代は往復で大人600円・小人300円で、遊泳そのものは無料です。真っ白な砂浜と透明度の高い海が広がり、瀬戸内海ならではの穏やかな波は小さな子ども連れでも安心して遊べます。シャワー(有料)やトイレ、桟敷(有料)といった設備は整っていますが、更衣室はないため水着は事前に着用しておく必要があります。無人島ならではの静けさの中、夕方まで思いきり海水浴を楽しみましょう。
Tips
渡船は8時30分から16時45分まで。水着は仁尾港に着く前に着用し、島には売店がないので飲み物や軽食は仁尾港で調達を。シャワーと桟敷は有料なので小銭を用意しておくと安心です。帰りの渡船に間に合うよう、16時前には片付けを始めるのがおすすめです。
Tips
The beach is just a short walk from the parking lot. The water mirror depends on tide levels, so check the low tide time in advance. Morning is ideal for photography as the sunlight is still soft.
