One of Japan's largest sand dunes, spanning 2.4 km north to south and 16 km east to west, representing Sanin Kaigan National Park. The beautiful wind patterns created by the wind and the views of the Japan Sea beyond the dunes are especially striking in the clear morning air. Since water play awaits later, keep this walk light. Many children go barefoot, and the sand is cooler and easier to walk on in the morning before temperatures rise.

2026年は7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで、9:15〜12:00・13:00〜16:00の2部制で営業する屋外の水遊びスポットです。水深約10cmの「水の遊び場」は小さな子でも安心して遊べる浅さで、初めての水遊びデビューにもぴったり。小学生を対象にした全長26mのウォータースライダーは、少し大きな子どもたちの人気の的です。水遊び自体は無料で、施設の入園料(高校生以上500円・中学生200円・70歳以上と小学生以下は無料、土日祝は大学生以下無料)だけで一日中楽しめる、家族連れにやさしい料金設定も魅力です。午前の部は12:00までのため、この日はここまでにたっぷり遊びきる計画にしています。

Tips

営業は天候により中止になる場合があるため、当日朝に最新情報を確認してから出かけると安心です。午前の部は12:00で一旦終了するので、時間ぎりぎりまで遊びたい場合は早めの入場がおすすめ。入園料は当日窓口での支払いが基本となるため、現金を用意しておきましょう。水の遊び場は浅いとはいえ日差しが強いので、こまめな休憩と水分補給を心がけてください。
