A scenic landmark symbolic of Onna Village, featuring a distinctive rock formation resembling an elephant's trunk jutting from a cliff made of uplifted coral reef. From the walking trail, you can take in the contrasting views of the emerald-green sea and towering cliff face; on clear days, the horizon stretches endlessly before you in an open panorama. According to legend from the Ryukyuan Kingdom era, the king visited this place and praised it as a spot "where ten thousand people could sit," which is the origin of its name. It remains one of the representative spots of Okinawan tourism today. The well-maintained walking trail is easy to traverse, making it perfect for the whole family to enjoy Okinawan scenery at the start of the day.

恩納村の海沿いに立つカフーリゾートフチャクコンド・ホテルで行われる、夏恒例の打ち上げ花火です。2026年は7月9日から8月29日の火・木・土曜を中心に開催され、この日は7月21日(火)20時45分から夜空に花火が打ち上がります。打上げ数は公表されていませんが、リゾートの開放的な雰囲気の中、海風とともに花火を見上げるひとときは特別な思い出になります。ムーンビーチでの夕涼みから続けて楽しめる、1日の締めくくりにふさわしいフィナーレです。

Tips

荒天時は中止・順延になる場合があるため、当日はホテル公式サイトやSNSで開催状況を確認しましょう。ホテル周辺や海岸沿いからも観覧できます。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し時間をおいての帰宅がおすすめです。

Tips

The walking trail begins just beyond the visitor center from the parking area. Since there are places without railings, keep small children's hands firmly held as you walk. Shops and restrooms are also available.
