About this spot

A hillside observation amusement park overlooking Amanohashidate. A cable car and monorail take you to the summit. When viewed by standing and looking through the legs from the observation platform, Amanohashidate appears like a bridge arching to heaven, offering a spectacular view unique to one of Japan's Three Great Views. The park features a Ferris wheel and small attractions for family enjoyment. The highlight is viewing from above the pine-lined path you walked in the morning.

2026年7月24日(金)開催、日本三景・天橋立を舞台にした海の京都みやづBAY花火です。19時ごろから、宮津湾に面した夜空に約150発の花火が打ち上がります。昼間に眺めた松並木のシルエットを背景に上がる花火は、天橋立ならではの風情ある夜景を作り出します。この花火は7月18日・25日、8月1日・8日にも開催される予定で、1回あたり75〜150発と日によって規模が異なるため、日程を選ぶ際は事前に確認しましょう。日本三景の絶景めぐりから始まった1日の締めくくりにふさわしい夜です。

Tips

荒天時は中止・順延の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は宮津市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、少し余韻を楽しんでから帰路につくのがおすすめです。

Tips

Board the cable car and lift from the station about 10 minutes walk from Amanohashidate Station. The round-trip view lift and monorail fare is included in the park admission. Afternoon lighting can create backlighting, so early afternoon viewing is recommended.
