A Walk Along the Clear Nagara River
About this spot
The riverbed of the clear Nagara River, known nationwide for its excellent water quality. The Minami Town area is particularly noted for the river's high transparency, and in summer, you can see people enjoying river activities and sweetfish fishing. Spend leisurely time among the canyon scenery nestled in mountains, feeling the cool river breeze. The fireworks venue is also nearby, making the evening transition smooth.

2026年7月23日(木)開催、郡上市美並町の清流のほとりを彩る花火大会です。20時30分から20時45分までの15分間、夜空に約200発の花火が打ち上がります。規模は大きくありませんが、山々に囲まれた静かな里で見上げる花火は、地域に根ざした温かみのある特別なひとときです。清流の恵みと温泉を楽しんだ1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、しっとりとしたクライマックスです。

荒天時は中止・延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認を。周辺は街灯が少ないため、帰り道はスマホのライトなどで足元を照らして安全に。

Drive from Minami Kodakara Onsen. The riverbank has some unstable footing, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

About 1 hour. In the afternoon, the clear air brings out the beauty of the pristine river.
