One of Japan's three most famous cherry trees, this giant weeping cherry tree is said to be over 1,000 years old. Even outside of spring bloom season, the magnificent way its branches spread in all directions is impressive throughout the year. It is designated as a National Natural Monument, allowing you to feel up close the scale of this ancient giant tree that has survived through the centuries.

2026年7月26日(日)開催、三春町西方石畑の三春の里田園生活館周辺で行われる三春の里夏まつりの花火大会です。19時30分から20時30分までの約1時間、夜空に約1,000発の花火が次々と打ち上がります。里山に囲まれた会場ならではの、身近な距離で見上げる花火の迫力が魅力です。地域に根ざした夏祭りの締めくくりを、家族でゆっくり楽しみましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止や日程変更となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。会場周辺は街灯が少ないため、懐中電灯があると安心です。

Tips

You can drive from the center of Miharu Town. Admission is around 300 yen for adults. There is parking nearby, though it may get crowded depending on the season.
