Along the Otani River that flows through the center of the hot spring town, willow groves line the water's edge, with several small moon bridges spanning across. As evening approaches, lanterns begin to illuminate, and combined with the townscape of wooden inns, a postcard-like landscape unfolds. Tonight's fireworks will also launch from this riverside, and walking here during the day helps you visualize the best viewing spots. Enjoy the unique Kinosaki experience of viewing the townscape from atop the bridges and between the willows.

城崎温泉の夏を締めくくる花火大会です。柳並木の続く大谿川沿いの温泉街を舞台に、夜空へ花火が打ち上がります。5分ほどの短い時間ながら、木造旅館の灯りと提灯、そして花火の光が重なり合う城崎ならではの情緒ある景色が広がります。浴衣姿で外湯めぐりの合間に花火を楽しむ人も多く、温泉街全体が夏祭りのムードに包まれる特別な夜です。
Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日は豊岡市や温泉街の公式発表を確認しましょう。観覧場所は大谿川沿いの各所に分散するため、早めに川沿いのお気に入りのスポットを確保しておくと安心です。終了後は温泉街が混み合うため、外湯めぐりを続けながらの時間差移動もおすすめです。
Tips
This area continues naturally from Kiyamachi Street, so navigation is easy. For photography, the bridges and under the willows are recommended spots. In the evening, the crowd gradually increases, so if you prefer less crowded times, visit earlier.
