About this spot

A roadside station named after the "Gin no Bashashaido" (Silver Carriage Road) that once connected the Ikuno Mine to Himeji, located at the gateway of Kamikawa Town in Kanzaki County. It features a direct sales shop with fresh local vegetables and specialty products, as well as dining places using Banshu ingredients, making it perfect for a driving break. A grass plaza is also attached, so it's recommended to let children play a bit before heading to eat. Its convenient location makes it useful for a light meal before heading to the Ichikawa Festival venue.

市川町文化センターの芝生広場を会場に開かれる、地域に根づいた夏まつりの花火大会です。周囲を田園と山並みに囲まれた開放的な会場で、都市部の花火大会とはひと味違う静けさの中、夜空いっぱいに花火が広がります。芝生に腰を下ろしてゆったり見上げられるのも、この会場ならではの魅力です。18時から21時までの間、家族でのんびり夜空を楽しみましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日は市川町の公式発表で開催可否を確認を。駐車場や周辺道路は終了後に混み合うため、時間差での帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いのでスマホのライトなど明かりを用意しておくと安心です。

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from the center of Ichikawa Town. The direct sales shop has the best selection mid-morning. There can be crowded times, so secure seating early. Take your time and use it as a restroom break opportunity.
