The surrounding colorful Chinese-style gate towers (paifang) create an exotic Kobe atmosphere that lifts your spirits just walking through. If you focus your lunch here on street food, you'll stay light on your feet for the rest of the day. On the day of the fireworks festival, daytime hours see relatively few crowds, making it a pleasantly relaxed time to explore.

「みなとHANABI-神戸を彩る5日間」は、神戸市中央区のメリケンパークを会場に、2026年10月19日(月)から23日(金)の5日間にわたって開催される花火大会です。各日18時30分から18時50分のわずか20分間に、港の夜空へ花火が打ち上がります。神戸港の海面に反射する光と、対岸の夜景、港のランドマークが一体となった光景は、神戸ならではの都市型花火の醍醐味です。平日開催のため週末の大規模大会より落ち着いた雰囲気の中で観覧できるのも魅力で、家族でゆったりと楽しむことができます。20分間の花火が終わったあとも、港の夜景の余韻をしばらく味わってから帰路につきましょう。

荒天時の開催可否は大会主催者の公式発表を必ず確認してください。終了後はメリケンパーク周辺の道路や最寄り駅(みなと元町駅・元町駅)が混み合うため、しばらく公園内で余韻を楽しんでから分散して帰宅するのがおすすめです。帰路は足元が暗くなるため小さなライトやスマートフォンのライトを活用しましょう。
