About this spot
As its name suggests, this park in Kucchan offers views of Yotei Mountain, also known as Ezo Fuji. You can move around freely on the spacious grounds, and on clear days, sit on the grass and slowly enjoy the majestic mountain scenery. Despite being close to town, it's a great spot for families to feel nature. Spend the afternoon here, then head to Hangetsu Lake Nature Park.

羊蹄山のふもと、じゃがいもの町として知られる倶知安町で開催される夏祭りの花火大会です。2026年8月2日(日)19時30分から30分間、開拓とじゃがいも栽培で発展してきた町の夏を彩る花火が夜空に打ち上がります。標高が高く空気の澄んだ高原らしい夜空に映える花火は、都市部の花火とはひと味違う清々しさが魅力です。まつり本体の出店やイベントもあわせて楽しみながら、家族で夏の締めくくりを過ごしましょう。
Tips
半月湖自然公園から車で約15分。会場周辺は夜になると冷え込むことがあるため、羽織ものを用意しておくと安心です。荒天時は中止や時間変更の場合があるため、開催可否は倶知安町の公式発表で確認してください。
Tips
It's about 10 minutes by car from the Kucchan Local History Museum. There are areas with little shade, so in summer, don't forget a hat and hydration.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 20 minutes. The afternoon when sunlight becomes gentler is most comfortable and recommended.
