View Himi's Coastline from Castle Ruins on a Hilltop Promontory
About this spot
Remains of a Sengoku-era castle built on a promontory jutting into Toyama Bay. Though little of the castle structure remains, the promontory offers sweeping views of the azure Toyama Bay and Himi's coastline, making it the perfect spot to kick off your day and soak in the essence of Himi. Well-maintained walking paths allow you to feel the sea breeze, ideal for a leisurely family outing to start the day. On clear days, the distant Tateyama Mountain Range (立山連峰) comes into view, creating an excellent photo opportunity.
