Even near the entrance, you'll find plenty of stunning views, making it possible for families with small children who can't do serious valley trekking to enjoy nature's beauty at their own pace. Even in the height of summer, the air along the valley remains cool and refreshing.

2026年8月1日(土)21時から21時20分まで、渓谷の町として知られる安芸太田町戸河内で開かれる花火大会です。約2,000発の花火が山あいの夜空に打ち上がり、周囲の山々にこだまする音とともに夏の夜を彩ります。街の灯りが少ない分、花火のひとつひとつがくっきりと美しく見えるのがこの会場ならではの魅力です。渓谷散策から始まった1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、山里の夏祭りのフィナーレです。
Tips
荒天時は中止や日程変更の可能性があるため、当日は主催者の公式発表を確認しましょう。開始時刻が21時と遅いため、小さな子どもは体調に合わせて無理のない範囲で楽しみましょう。終了後は帰り道が暗いため、懐中電灯を持って足元に注意して移動しましょう。

About 10 minutes by car from Togoshi Fureai Center. The hiking trail has some uneven footing in places, so sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are essential. The deeper you venture, the more challenging the valley trek becomes, so choose your route based on time and fitness level.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours required. Even in hot summer weather, the area along the valley remains cool and comfortable.
