Observe fish in the sea from an underwater observation room
About this spot
An observation tower protruding into the sea at Hato Misaki, allowing glass-enclosed viewing of sea creatures. From the underwater observation room at approximately 7 meters depth, you can observe schools of fish swimming through the clear Genkai-nada waters up close, making it extremely popular with children. The observation deck at the top offers panoramic views of the Genkai-nada Sea and nearby Hato Misaki where tonight's fireworks will occur. Located very close to the fireworks venue for convenient transit.

2026年8月29日(土)、玄界灘に面した波戸岬海水浴場で開催される鎮西町夏まつりの花火大会です。約1,000発の花火が、遮るもののない海の上空に大きく打ち上がります。日中に訪れた名護屋城跡や呼子の港町の風景を思い出しながら、1日の締めくくりとして花火を見上げる時間は格別です。海に面した開放的な会場だからこそ、家族みんなでゆったりと花火を楽しめます。
Tips
荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日は唐津市の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し時間をおいてから帰路につくのがおすすめです。砂浜は足元が暗いのでスマホのライトを活用しましょう。
Tips
Located right next to Hato Misaki Beach, making transit to the fireworks venue smooth. Summer crowds are common; arrive with time to spare. The underwater observation room requires stair descents; hold hands with small children.
