About this spot
A shrine nestled in the mountain village overlooking Ryokami Mountain, which has long gathered the faith of the local community. Large cedar trees stand thick within the grounds, and as you ascend the stone steps of the shrine approach, you can feel the air becoming clearer. Though not flashy, it has a calm atmosphere appropriate for a family to quietly offer prayers together. The cedar groves also soften the summer sun, making it suitable for walks during hot seasons.

2026年8月16日(日)開催、旧三田川中学校周辺を会場にしたおがの花火大会のクライマックスです。周囲を山に囲まれた立地のため、打ち上げの音が山々に反響して体に響くような迫力を感じられるのがこの大会の魅力。都市部の大規模な花火大会とは違い、比較的近い距離から花火を見上げられる落ち着いた雰囲気も特長です。星空とともに夜空いっぱいに広がる花火を、家族でゆっくり見上げる時間になります。
Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日は小鹿野町の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し腰を落ち着けてから帰路につくのがおすすめです。足元が暗いので懐中電灯やスマホのライトを準備しておくと安心です。
Tips
A few minutes by car from Michi-no-Eki Ryokami. The stone steps to the grounds have uneven steps, so wear easy-to-walk-in shoes. Admission is free and there is almost no congestion. The next destination, Ryokami Onsen Yakushi-no-Yu, is about 10 minutes by car.
Best time to visit
Approximately 40 minutes required. The late afternoon hours with dappled sunlight filtering through are pleasant to spend.
