Honmachi street (本町通り), which runs through the center of Daishouji, still has rows of long-established Japanese sweet shops and restaurants. On festival night, the area around the venue becomes extremely crowded, so it's reassuring to finish dinner during this time in a relaxed atmosphere. Simply walking while admiring the charming storefronts characteristic of a castle town will enhance your travel mood. It's also recommended to select Kaga regional specialty Japanese sweets as souvenirs.

旧大聖寺藩十万石の歴史を伝える秋祭り「十万石まつり」のクライマックスを飾る花火大会です。加賀市役所前広場周辺を会場に、城下町の夜空へ次々と花火が打ち上がります。昼間歩いた歴史ある街並みが夜の帳とともに祭り一色に染まり、地域の人々の思いが込められた花火が街全体を彩ります。城下町散策の締めくくりにふさわしい、歴史と光が重なる特別な時間です。

荒天時は中止・延期となる場合があるため、当日は加賀市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は会場周辺の道路や駅が混み合うため、しばらく余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。

About 10 minutes on foot from the Daishouji River promenade. Shops around the venue are very crowded on festival night, so visiting earlier is recommended. Plan for about 15 minutes on foot to the venue.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes required. Around 5:00 PM is an easy time to enter before the crowds begin.
