Japan's largest-scale wasabi farm utilizing spring water from the Northern Japanese Alps. Clear streams flow through the vast farm grounds, and the landscape with its traditional water wheel houses makes for a picturesque walking spot. Specialty items like wasabi soft-serve ice cream and wasabi croquettes—available nowhere else—are treats to look forward to. Even on hot summer days, the area near the clear stream remains cool, making this a representative Azumino spot where families can spend a leisurely time.

Tips
荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は安曇野市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は明科駅周辺と周辺道路が混雑するため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。夜は冷えることがあるので羽織ものを忘れずに。
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from JR Hotaka Station (穂高駅). Admission is free, but since the farm is expansive, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. It's about 10 minutes by car to the next stop, Hotaka Shrine (穂高神社).
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. The area along the clear stream remains pleasantly cool even in summer.
