2026年のじゃんとこい魚津まつりは8月7日から9日までの3日間、諏訪神社と港町一帯を舞台に開催されます。会場では、高さ数メートルの三角形の木枠に約80個ともいわれる提灯を飾りつけた「たてもん」と呼ばれる灯り山が登場し、若者たちが威勢のよい掛け声とともにそれを担ぎ、回転させながら練り歩きます。無数の提灯の灯りが夜の港町を照らし、水面に映るその姿は幻想的そのもの。海とともに生きてきた魚津の人々の心意気が伝わる、地域を代表する夏まつりです。

Tips

会場周辺は夜になると多くの見物客でにぎわい、車両の通行規制がかかることもあります。公共交通機関や近隣の駐車場情報を事前に確認しておくと安心です。港町周辺は足元が暗い箇所もあるため、歩きやすい靴で訪れましょう。
