日本三大盆踊りの一つに数えられることもある、高梁市の夏を代表する盆踊りです。三味線や笛の音に合わせてゆったりと踊る「地方踊り」と、軽快なテンポで踊る「仕組み踊り」の2種類があり、それぞれ異なる趣で夜通し繰り広げられます。JR備中高梁駅前の大通りを会場に、提灯の灯りの下で優雅な踊りの輪が広がる様子は、他の盆踊りとはひと味違った上品な雰囲気が魅力です。
Tips
踊りは19時から22時20分まで続くため、無理のない時間帯を決めて観覧するのがおすすめです。夜は気温が下がることもあるので、薄手の羽織ものがあると安心です。荒天時の開催可否は公式情報で確認してください。
Tips
Within walking distance of Ishihi-ya Town Furusato Village. Admission fee required. There is a viewing area for contemplating the garden while resting, making it a cool refuge during hot hours.
