Located within Tokyo Skytree Town, this aquarium features the charm of observing creatures such as penguins swimming in open-air pools and the uniquely popular garden eels at close range. Inside, there's also an exhibition area inspired by Edo-period waterside scenery, allowing visitors to experience Tokyo's character. As an indoor facility, you can comfortably enjoy a leisurely visit without worrying about summer heat.

2026年の墨田区民納涼民踊大会は8月1日から3日までの3日間、18時から20時まで、スカイツリータウン内のソラマチひろばを舞台に開催されます。墨田区の区民が中心となって親しんできた民踊大会で、巨大な電波塔がそびえるひろばに提灯が並び、浴衣姿の家族連れや地元の人々が輪になって踊ります。初日となる1日は、日中に水族館や浅草を巡ってきた一日の締めくくりとして、下町・墨田区ならではのあたたかな夏の夜を楽しめます。
Tips
会場周辺は開催時間中混雑します。東武スカイツリーライン・とうきょうスカイツリー駅から直結でアクセスできます。夜は冷房の効いた屋内施設との気温差があるので、羽織るものがあると安心です。
Tips
Admission fee required. Summer vacation periods can be crowded; morning visits are recommended. The walkway width is suitable for stroller access.
Best time to visit
About 50 minutes. It's even more enjoyable if you time your visit to coincide with penguin feeding time.
