A circuit-style garden created over many years by the Maeda clan, Kaga's feudal lords, and counted among Japan's three most famous gardens. 金沢に隣接する野々市市の中心部、本町通り一帯を会場に開かれる地域の夏まつりです。2026年は8月1日・2日の2日間の開催で、コースの対象日はその初日にあたります。地域に伝わる郷土芸能「じょんから踊り」を中心に、通りには次第に大きな踊りの輪が広がっていき、観客として見物するだけでなく、誰でも輪に加わって一緒に踊れるのがこのまつりの魅力です。商店街全体が提灯の明かりに包まれ、地元の人々と旅行者が入り混じって夜通し盛り上がる、地域密着型のあたたかな夏祭りです。

Tips

まつり当日は本町通り周辺が交通規制となり、駐車場も混み合います。踊りの輪に加わりたい場合は、周囲の動きを見ながら気軽に参加してみましょう。
