越前市民に親しまれる武生中央公園を舞台に、8月14日・15日の2日間開催される市を代表する夏祭りです。広々とした園内にステージや模擬店が並び、ステージイベントで賑わったあと、夜には夜空を彩る花火が打ち上げられます。日中は子どもの遊び場としても人気の公園が、夜には家族連れで埋め尽くされる祭り会場に姿を変える様子は、越前市の夏を象徴する光景です。
